Tourist Sydney

My brother came over for a visit during mid-session break. Had lots of fun and exhaustion, found ourselves in parts of Tourist Sydney I’ve never been to before (and not all were deliberate). Took loads of pictures, so I’ll just be posting a bit.

DAY 1 – St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Queen Victoria Building, Powerhouse Museum, Darling Harbor, Circular Quay

From the old Sydney train station.

The city from the Powerhouse Museum.

DAY 2 –  Darling Harbor, Maritime Museum, Sydney Aquarium

The ships at the Maritime Museum. You can actually go in them.

What Darling Harbor looks like through the periscope of the submarine HMAS Onslow. It felt very squashed inside the sub.

Little Penguins in the Sydney Aquarium.

Jaws.

Something I’ve never seen before. It’s a shark egg.

DAY 3 – Coogee Beach, Taronga Zoo, Circular Quay

A komodo dragon at the zoo.

Longnecks.

Meerkats (i.e. Timon).

Circular Quay from Taronga Zoo.

Sydney Opera House at past five in the afternoon.
