Very nifty tool. You can get an online account to catalog in library-style the books you have, including information on ISBN, the author, publisher, member reviews, etc. It searches for information on your book primarily in as well as university libraries all over the world.

I’m just glad I’ve found something to keep tabs on my books. To quote Karen,  “I have discovered a thing of beauty. *_* The brilliance overwhelms.”

I’ve begun building up my library:

  1. there are actually a lot more sites similar to librarything around the internet. i like librarything’s layout and user-friendliness but the only down part is we only get to catalog 200 books for free and the rest have to be paid a lifetime fee. others like reader2, shelfari, gurulib, allconsuming, delicious library, bookpedia and goodreads are free, though librarything seems to be the best in terms of features.

  2. Just 200?! Well, that sucks. I’ll definitely be going over that number. Thanks for sharing the other catalogs!

  3. David Lodge yaaaay!
